About Us

In May 1995, a group of parents formed a Scout Group and, in June of that year, the 1st Kinross Scout Group was officially opened, meeting at the Kinross Primary School. In 1998 Kinross Scout Group moved to McNaughton Hall and have been meeting there ever since.

The Kinross Scout Group is vibrant and energetic with lots of fun and exciting programs where the young ones can ‘learn by doing’. Our group is made up of Joeys, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers Sections, with youth members ranging in age from 6 to 18 years of age.

Kinross Scout Group badge

The green represents the ocean and the coast. The red striping represents the soil and the environment. The castle on the apex of the scarf got its influences from the Kinross Castle in Scotland and also the now removed castle that was at the entrance to the suburb of Kinross
